After a great weekend visit with my parents, and feeling infinitely sorry for my mom, who was suffering from seasonal allergies/sinus un-fun-ness... I am now suffering from the same seasonal misery.
I was fine until Sunday, when I forgot to take my allergy medicine. I don't know why I forgot. I've been good about taking it everyday, even when I'm not having symptoms, because if I take it everyday, I won't have symptoms.
In the course of less than 24 hours I went from breathing free and clear, to being stuffed up, achey sinuses, sneezing, runny nose, eyes that feel as if they've been covered in flannel, and just general unpleasantness. BLECH! So while I can't increase my dosage on the allergy stuff, I have added some Tylenol into the mix to help with the achey feeling in my sinuses (which is making other areas of my face hurt too... namely the insides of my ears and my teeth!).
I know you're jealous. It's sexy to have a runny nose and hack so bad it sounds like you're going to cough up a lung. Oh, and sneezing is extra fun while pregnant. I won't go into detail, but all you ladies out there know what I'm talking about. Throw in being six months pregnant and the attractiveness factor really jumps up a notch.
For the time being, I'm just drinking lots of hot tea, carrying around a box of Kleenex and a tube of lipbalm, and drinking lots of water. Hopefully it will work itself out pretty soon.

I feel for you! I now have year round allergies and chronic sinusitis. Hope you're feeling better soon!
Get better!!! I know how badly you feel! Allergies have been particularly bad this year.
The Midwest is the WORST place we have ever lived for allergies! So sorry you are suffering...hope you're back to yourself soon!
I feel your pain. My allergies have been acting up lately - but only one side of my faces really suffers. So my right eye is puffy and watery and my right nostril is runny. I look like an allergy freak. Oh, and when your teeth hurt from it - that's awful!

Your brother is struggling with the same thing. If he keeps up on his meds, he is ok, but miss one dose and hello stuffiness!!! Hope you feel better soon!
Seems like it hits me worse in the fall than the spring. For the first time in a while I've been taking Claritin every night. I don't have it bad...just itchy eyes and that tickle in my throat that annoys me, but the Claritin seems to be helping relieve that.
I hope you feel better soon. I seem to have caught the crud from my school age children. Yuck!
