"We need to go to Target, Mom."
"Why?"
"Because I need something to eat."
"We don't eat at Target."
"Some people do."
-- Actual conversation after his 3 year old check up at the doctor's office. He was referencing the small food court at the Target near our house.
--------
"Mom/Dad, you're my best partner."
--------
"Mom, look a camper!"
"Yep. That one looks like the one Grandma and Grandpa just got!"
"We better go take that one away and give it back to Grandma and Grandpa."
----------
"What do we need at the grocery store, Mommy?"
"We need to buy some fruit, and we need to pick up some beer."
"I think we need to buy some pretzels and beer for Daddy."

Kids really do say the darndest things!!
Good for you for recording these for posterity...my kids LOVE to hear all the funny things they said when they were toddlers now. What a cutie you have!
He is so cute!! I love 3-year-old logic:-)
Very thoughtful and well spoken, possible journalist? Enjoys meeting peoples needs, thoughtful, and well spoken ... it is your Mini Me :)
What, no bottle of wine for mommy? :)
Sometimes the funniest things come flying out of our kids mouths!
He is so adorable!! You can send my nephew to stay with us for a few days when you get sick of him.
TOOO cute!!!
What a cutie!! His observations are too much. Kids that age are so sincere. I love it...
Awwww.... what father wouldn't love that. how cute
Such a cute little guy. I love listening to kids.
HOW CUTE! Kids say the best stuff! If only I had the ability to be as candid as a 3 year old!
BTW: My best friend is from Manitowoc, WI. Went there for the first time last summer. Sooo pretty!
Congrats on your Friday Spotlight!
How cute. I love all the things kids say.
Congrats on SITS.
Out of the mouths of babes. I love it! And I love the fact that he thinks of Target as his first go to for any need.
i love love love these! i just did one yesterday of my #2 daughter! precious. my oldest is 13 and i listed all these on a page in her scrapbook. it's one of her fav things to look at.
Whenever we ask the boyz where they want to eat for dinner--they always answer Target! The mini food area there has Pizza Hut. Yuck.
(Found ya from the SITS gals!)
Oh yes....Target may just well be my daughter's favorite place to eat. Icees and Hot Dogs, what more could a kid want?
I love the way little minds think.
