My dad got into town Saturday afternoon. We went to church, then out to dinner at my favorite Mexican restaurant afterwards. We came back home to have cake.
I got some great presents, too. From Craig, my favorite perfume and from Alex a t-shirt from my favorite team.
I got phone calls, messages, comments and emails from so many of my friends and family. I really felt loved! It was a really special day!
We spent a lazy day with my dad today. We slept in. Spent a lot of time outside enjoying the weather. Took a walk. Grilled out. It was very relaxing. Alex was so sad when he woke up from his nap and Grampa had gone home. He kept saying how much fun he had with Grampa the rest of the day. I just love good times spent with family!

Yummo-o cake! I think birthday cakes always taste better when you don't have to make them yourself.:-) Glad you had a fun weekend.
Glad you had such a great birthday weekend! :)
By the way,I'm starting a new theme on my blog: Millennial Mom Mondays. It's a chance to think about -- and share -- our experiences as parents at this moment in time. Each week will have a theme to inspire you.
This week's theme is "Becoming Mom". If you write something on that theme this week, whatever it means to you, feel free to come by and post a comment, linking to it so others can find it too.
