So I have a couple of vacation days left to burn before the end of the year... days I'm not saving to add on to my maternity leave, so I have a day to myself.
I have a huge to do list, that includes laundry, reading, crocheting, watching DVRd shows, errands, taking Shadow to the vet to get her stitches out, and getting caught up on blogging/commenting. Can you stand the excitment?!
I also got to drop Alex off at school today, only the second time I've gotten to do that, as that's usually Craig's territory. I'll get to pick him up from school too. He was pretty excited that Mommy was going to do the "school stuff" today.
I'm going to run a couple of errands now... then come home and brew up either some decaf tea or decaf coffee (decisions decisions!) and then curl up with my computer and my pooch. Happy Friday to me!

A day off is wonderful! I only have an hour to get the house somewhat cleaned up before the kids get home from school...but then my dad will pick them up, yay!
