One of the worst parts of maternity leave is discovering new guilty pleasures on television.
Thank you to Bravo, TLC, and E! for the fantasitc bunch of junk to which I am now addicted.
Shear Genius
Tabatha's Salon Takeover
What Not To Wear
Keeping up with the Kardashians
I have caught myself DVRing some of these if I have to run an errand or if they are on while I'm in the shower. Pathetic, isn't it? I have tried to break myself of some of these shows... it will get better when I go back to work. I actually had to stop watching "A Baby Story" because it was making me cry.
Oh, and I finally got caught up on one of my HBO faves... Big Love. That one is not such a guilty pleasure, it's just a darn good show!

I hear ya! I started working from home and now I'm hooked on all these shows - I actually changed my gals naptime on Friday because something big was happening on All My Children.
And, at night, when I should be working, we have been watching the 3rd season of Big Love - amazing show and as a writer, i don't feel bad about watching that one at all!!
This is why I'm lovin netflix even more. I've watched more TV series in the last year than ever before. I'll add Big Love to my list.
Big Love is a good show, but we rarely watch it when it's on TV because we always seem to miss an episode, and miss something important. We wait till it's out on DVD and watch season by season.
Another character driven series that I loved was Battlestar Gallactica.
Since Tony is deployed, I'm living vicariously through reality TV. How pathetic is THAT??
I'm still a huge Grey's Anatomy fan...
Yes, you remind me why a DVR would be a bad idea...for ME anyway.
I am with you on Shear Genius and What not to wear. And if they have Project Runway on - I'm sucked in also!
Oh well. What can you do?!?! ;-)
Hope all well!
Big Hugs!
Ooof. Count me in for RuPaul's Drag Race and Tool Academy.
(Of course I've loved Celebrity Rehab for years, but that's goodwill TV isn't it? ;) )
OMG - I got sucked into Keeping the Kardashians. I watch too much TV to talk about here. The DVR is my life saver. I never watch a show in real time anymore.
