Catching Up...

Okay... so I'm going to catch up on a few loose ends here.

Goodreads Chicks on Lit present - Fabulous purple yarn. It's all sparkly! Thank you Hannah! It's purple and sparkly and I love it! Whenever I decide what I'm making with it, I'll take a picture and post it.

Valentine's Day - Got my haircut (nothing special, just a trim). Alex went to a birthday party. I dropped him off, the mom said to pick him up in 2 hours. Went back two hours later they still hadn't played games, had ice cream, or opened presents. We were there another two hours. GRRR. Seriously a 4 hour party for a 4 year old? And you didn't make some sort of agenda? Call me crazy, but it just seems a little disorganized. We also got AT&T Uverse installed. We worshipped the HD goodness most of the evening.

Sunday - Date night! Thanks to my friend Sara for the babysitting swap. Went to a great Mexican restaurant for dinner then to see "Benjamin Button." Great movie, if a little long. Forgot how good looking Brad Pitt is. I've been lukewarm to him ever since the whole left-his-wife-for-bizarrely beautiful co-worker thing. But once he loses all the aging makeup, holy moly. He's HOT. And Cate Blanchett is beautiful.

Book Club meeting was tonight. Will post about that tomorrow.
